Teacher Education is a Dynamic field. Innovative thoughts and concepts always enter in this field e.g. the concept of Micro teaching, Team Teaching, Programmed learning or technology based Learning, ICT based teaching, using web 2.0 tools, social media, Wikipedia, blogs and vlogs etc. As the NCF 2005 emphasizes that children's experience of school Education must be linked with the life outside the school, so that learning experience is joyful. Having had this in mind, several opportunities are provided to students to construct their systematic knowledge by engaging them in activities, experiment, projects field visits, discussion with peers & teachers, group work, brain storming sessions, collecting information from different sources, enquiring, listening, thinking etc. The NCFTE-2009 also emphasized the innovative method of teaching, critical pedagogy and pedagogical shift, one such shift in Mathematics is pedagogy is from a "teacher as expert", to a more student-centred approach where the teacher facilitates learning. By keeping these changes in the curriculum and based on the recommendations of NCF-2005 & NCFTE-2009, an attempt has made to assist you in your pursuit of enhancement of effectiveness, excellence, diversity and creativity in the area of teaching learning of Mathematics.
