School Management And Issues In Education (PB)
Educational Management is a process of planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of an institution by utilizing the human and material resources, so as to effectively and efficiently accomplish the functions of teaching, research and extended work. Managing the formal process of imparting knowledge and skills, widely known as education, is not an easy task. There are many factors to consider, and also opportunities to grab and even threats to look out for. As said, education is the formal process in which sets of knowledge and skills are passed form instructors, teachers and professors to students. The top expedite this process, as there is a need to manage all concerned affairs, including those that are not directly related to teaching - education management. Education management deals with administering all the affairs inside an academy. Usually, education managers are not given the teaching assignments, and if they given, their loads were minimal so as to have them focus on the affairs of the school. Professors, instructors and other members of the teaching faculty are usually made to focus on their task as passers of knowledge and skills. The non-teaching affairs of the academy - including handling teachers salaries, maintenance of school buildings, equipment and ground, as well as doing other transactions - are left for the education managers to handle. Education managers make the job easier for the teaching staff by handling the school's problems and affairs alike.
